Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior React Native Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain existing React Native codebase and implement new features as required
- Write well-designed, efficient and testable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to industry best practices
- Continually research and evaluate emerging technologies to ensure the product remains current and competitive
- Help mentor junior developers and serve as a technical leader on the team
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and related libraries and frameworks such as Redux, GraphQL, and Firebase
- Experience with native iOS and Android development is a plus
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control tools (e.g. Git)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
