Overview:
The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts of a software development team. This includes designing, developing and executing test plans and scripts for new and existing software products, as well as identifying and reporting defects and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve defects and issues.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and processes.
- Perform manual testing as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and resolve issues.
- Provide feedback on product usability, design, and functionality.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
